We also undertake individual training for NDT personnel to upgrade themselves and corporate training for the company sponsored candidates.

We have an excellent state of art laboratory with latest Advanced NDT equipments for various techniques to gain practical experience during our training programmes.

Exams are conducted as per SNT-TC-1A of American Society for Non Destructive Testing (ASNT). ASNT Level III examiner does evaluation of the theory & practical examination. Candidates who successfully pass the examination are issued certificates signed by ASNT NDT Level- III. Certificates holder.

Services

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a method of testing materials without destroying them. The materials after inspection do not change in its size, shape, physical and chemical properties. The major NDT methods are visual and optical testing aids, radiography testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing which are regularly used by the industries. Each of these methods has its own flaw detection capabilities and therefore, no method can replace the other one. Commonly employed NDT methods can be divided into 2 groups, viz.,

Methods for detection of internal flaws
Radiographic method:

It is a simple x-raying technique. The transmitted radiation after passing through the object is recorded on an x-ray film. In this method, different types of radiation sources and films are used depending upon the type of information required. It is most widely used in industry for inspection of welds, castings and assembles. The image of an object produced on an x-ray film shows the optical density variation depending on the internal structure of the object.

Ultrasonic method:
Ultra sound waves are generated by piezo electrical transducers which convert electrical energy into mechanical vibrations and vice-versa. These waves are made to fall on the material to be tested. As the wave travels through the material it may get reflected, scattered or transmitted depending upon the structure of the material. This is used for measurement of thickness of plates or sheets and also in case of bonded materials.For inspection of surface/sub-surface defects, visual inspection and dye penetrant methods and magnetic particle testing methods are employed.
Magnetic particle testing:

This is applicable only to materials which can be magnetized. The object is magnetized by applying high alternating or DC current and the flow of magnetic powders is observed either in dry or wet process. Surface discontinuity, such as grinding cracks, forging laps and scans etc can be easily detected. In some cases, sub-surface defects about one centimeter deep can also be revealed.

Dye penetrant testing:
Test objects are coated with visible or fluorescent dye solution. Excess dye is then removed from the surface, and a developer is applied. The developer acts as blotter, drawing trapped penetrant out of imperfections open to the surface. With visible dyes, vivid color contrasts between the penetrant and developer make “bleed out” easy to see. With fluorescent dyes, ultraviolet light is used to make the bleed out fluoresce brightly, thus allowing imperfections to be readily seen
Visual and optical testing:

Visual inspection involves using an inspector’s eyes to look for defects. The inspector may also use special tools such as magnifying glasses, mirrors, or bore scopes to gain access and more closely inspect the subject area. Visual examiners follow procedures that range from simple to very complex.

ELIGIBILITY: SSLC/ PLUS TWO/ DEGREE/ DIPLOMA.ENGINEERING

Our classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate more than 25 participants at a time with an excellent atmosphere.

We offer training and certification courses on the five major different NDT methods as noted above.

Our Training Programs also include Video Presentations of various NDT Methods. Our courses are designed to orient on more practical application and related theory to the work environment.

The training classes offered cover the syllabus as recommended by American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) document. ASNT –SNT-TC-1A.The training classes are based on the written Practice framed in accordance with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A requirements.

On Successful completion of training and examination of ASNT Level 1,and Level II course ,certificates are rewarded duly signed by ASNT NDT Level III’s . The certification bears an international recognition and the candidates are eligible to work on International Projects, to any where in the world.

The certificates are issued to the candidates to enable the employers to employ there candidates as NDT Technicians, NDT supervisors, NDT Engineers, QC Engineers, etc..

Practical Training is given as a part of the training program. In Addition, Additional Practical trainings are also offered in all NDT Methods as per the request of candidates, So as to make work as full time NDT Professionals.

We offer these training and certification programs at the client premises and also our premises.

Lecture classes are conducted by well qualified and experienced R.S.O’s, ASNT NDT Level III’s, AWS, and Technocrats Faculties. Regular/Evening/Weekend classes are also conducted.

We also conduct AWS, CSWIP Preparatory courses & also arrange Seminars and examination for Engineers, inspectors, Supervisors, and Managers etc .
